The place formally known as the Puppy Patch has changed owners and name to Kim’s Bow Wow Barn. This establishment (if it can be called that) has no right to sell their puppies to the public. The puppies are often sick and come with a series of serious health issues. The genetic and temperamental disposition is terrible and most of the rare breed dogs, like the Bull Terriers, end up in the pound. Several bull terrier puppies have already been put down and several have been rescued and replaced in better homes than they were originally sold in to. Rare breed dogs should not be sold in pet stores to the general public. Bull Terriers are not intended for everyone and are often abandoned due to poor judgment on the buyers behalf. The several times I have been into this business the people working there had no knowledge of the rare breeds they were selling and simply told people to look in book they provided for information. THIS IS NOT ADUQUATE! In addition to this the puppies are sold under a false registry which in no way ensures the puppies are purebred or healthy. Please do not give these people your business, if you know someone who has bought a puppy from here and has experienced the terrible things associated with puppy mill and backyard breeder puppies please urge them to tell their story here and file a complaint about the store to the USDA and the Nevada Humane SocietyIf you own a puppy from here PLEASE DO NOT BREED your dog!  Please do not ruin the  rare breeds or any breeds! Honest breeders have been trying to  overcome the illnesses and  genetic defects the puppy mill puppies carry for years. For every one good breeder who puts out a good litter there are hundreds of more puppies produced by the puppy mills. Help keep the breeds alive and healthy do not buy puppy mill puppies!
