Raised in the clean and clear Sierra air these dogs have no worries in a safe secure family environment. During the winter they run and jump through feet of snow and swim at the lakes in the warm summer sun. Hikes are mandatory and camping is never considered without the dogs.
They are raised around other dogs and in social environments. We attend local community activities and stroll local parks on a regular basis. These dogs are not kept away from people or other dogs.
Inside, the whelping box is set up with a warm red heat lamp and all the comforts a mother in need could ever want. Cool clean water, a fresh raw diet of food and a cozy box with radiant floor heating from the heating pad below. This safe clean environment will be home to the puppies and mom for the first few weeks, only mom can climb in and out while puppies sleep. The box is cleaned every day usually multiple times in the hour, and mom is wiped down after being out and about. These important procedures help keep vulnerable puppies safe and sound.
